INGREDIENTS

Cabbage - shredded
Carrot - shredded
Onion - finely chopped
Chilli
Oil
Mustard seeds
Turmeric powder - 1tsp
Pepper - crushed
Curry leaves
Corainder

THE MAKING
  • Slit the chilli right in the middle..
  • In a pan,add oil,mustard seeds,chilli,curry leaves.
  • Add onion and cook till they have the glassy texture.
  • Add turmeric powder, crushed pepper and salt.
  • Add the cabbage, carrot. Stir on till the veggies have cooked well.
  • Add corainder and serve...

TIPS
  • Well cooked cabbage would become very soft, and have the glassy appearance.
  • You can add red chilli flakes or chilli powder to this but fresh chillies are a better option.
  • Crushed pepper gives more taste than pepper powder,so its your choice which one to use.
  • You can also make cauliflower fry with this same recipe...

INGREDIENTS

Apple Shredded
Ghee - 1 tsp
Sweetened Condensed Milk
Cardamom Crushed
Raisins
Cashewnut
Water

THE MAKING

  • In a pan, melt ghee and add the shredded apples.Give a proper coating of ghee to the apples by constant stirring.
  • Put on the lid and continue to cook it in medium heat for about 10 mins i.e., till the apples become soft.
  • Add in 1/2 cup of water.(NOTE : the amount of water to be added depends on the apple. If your apple isn't too ripe add little more water)
  • Now keep stirring the apples and let them start losing water and become a mass.
  • Add in sweetened condensed milk as per your wish.Give a proper stir and let it cook for another 5-10 minutes.
  • When the apples turn brown colour and have lost all water content, add in the crushed cardamom, roasted cashewnut and raisins..
  • Let it cool down for some time and Serve !!!!!!
TIPS :
  • You can add milk and sugar instead of sweetened condensed milk.
